Thank you for joining us at the Landlord Energy Briefing last night. It was great to see so many landlords engaging positively with the upcoming changes to MEES and the opportunities available to improve the energy performance of rented homes across Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire.

Energy efficiency briefings for landlords
We’re helping landlords to future proof their rental business, sharing the changes to EPC and MEES regs, the latest on retrofit grant funding and giving landlords a chance to talk technical with retrofit experts, and network with other landlords in the business.
Full house for February launch
With more than 50 people attending our launch event in February 2026 – a mixture of private rental landlords with property portfolios of all sizes, senior local authority and NHS leads and the regional representative from the National Landlord Rental Association – our first Energy Briefing had people talking together from the off.
Co-hosted by Severn Wye and Evolve Home Energy Solutions, and supported by a range of merchants bringing technical kit to ‘show and tell’, the briefing was designed to give landlords all they need know about energy efficiency in one place.

Stay in the know
It’s not just about staying the right side of EPC and MEES regulations, there’s the fact that energy-efficiency buildings keep costs down, attract tenants and can add value when landlords come to sell.
With a range of topics covered during the briefing – from compliance with EPC and MEES regulations to getting your property SAP ratings up to finding routes for funding – we’re sharing the full presentations with delegates who attended in February. It’s a changing landscape, so please note the information is correct at 25 February 2026.
Thank you to speakers Rachael Locke from Stroud District Council, Steve Jennings from Evolve Home Energy Solutions and James Gladwin from the National Residential Landlords Association.
