What drives us

Tackling fuel poverty is a driving purpose for our advice and support team, which makes sure that people who are struggling to pay their energy bills can access all the help they need – in 2024/2025, that was nearly 11,700 cases handled by our advice team and over 2,000 home visits to support people struggling with energy bills.

Retrofitting people’s homes, supporting businesses to be more energy efficient, and generating our own home-grown, carbon-free energy is at the heart of our work at Severn Wye.

Measuring our impact

We are proud to have award-winning teams helping vulnerable clients and delivering energy and retrofit advice to homeowners, businesses and local authorities.

Through quantitative monitoring, questionnaires, client follow-up and case studies, we gather evidence for the impact we’re making, and we follow the bigger picture to spot opportunities to do more.

When we can, we report what we’ve learned on the ground to decision-makers to help make energy and rural policies more effective.
