Retrofit coordination and assessment for social landlords
Our award-winning retrofit experts can provide retrofit coordination for your decarbonisation schemes within PAS2035:2019 requirements. We provide retrofit risk-path assessments and whole-house assessments of eligible properties, providing a pathway to lower carbon that’s specific to each home.
As well as providing our expertise at the planning stage, we will oversee the installation of energy-efficiency and low-carbon technologies, visit site regularly and evaluate the performance of the new measures.
Your tenants will always be at the heart of our work. We take their individual circumstances into account in our recommendations and can offer bespoke advice about energy efficiency and energy use in the home. We will explain our recommendations for retrofit and make sure residents are comfortable with operation and getting the most out of any improvements.
Our recommendations will take into account the need for adequate ventilation.
WAVE1 SHDF
As part of the UK’s government’s commitment to Net Zero by 2050, the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) aims to deliver warm, energy-efficient homes for social housing tenants, homes that have reduced carbon emissions and fuel bills. The SHDF aims to tackle fuel poverty and support the growth of green jobs.
We worked with Cheltenham Borough Council and Cheltenham Borough Homes to make 59 social homes greener, warmer and more affordable.
