Pay Warmth Forward
Donate your winter fuel payment to help people in crisis
Make a difference this winter
In response to rising energy prices and a increasing numbers of households living without heat, we launched the Pay Warmth Forward scheme.
Many of us are concerned about rising fuel bills. But some households are living entirely without heat, either as a choice – to keep the fridge running or food on the table – or because their boiler is broken and they can’t afford to fix it.
Our community-based energy advisers see every day the impacts of cold homes on people’s physical and mental health. Having no heat can mean spending all day fully clothed in bed; it can mean your kids can’t do their homework, or have to go straight to bed after school to stay warm. It can put people with health conditions in hospital over Christmas.
It’s not much of a life – and it can have profound impacts that last way beyond this year’s winter.

How we help
We have everything in place to help people in emergency no-fuel situations, including energy advisers already out in the community supporting vulnerable households – and we have a waiting list of people in need of support.
Now we just need you.
If you feel you don’t need your winter fuel payment or other contributions you receive towards your fuel bills this winter, please consider donating some or all of it to Pay Warmth Forward.
We will use your donations to provide short-term emergency support, including oil-filled radiators, heated blankets, and heated throws. Your support will keep residents warmer and safer over the winter, while we help them find long-term funding or heating solutions that will make sure they’re not in crisis again next winter
Please donate on our Just Giving page
100% of your donation will go towards supporting some of the most vulnerable and at-risk households in Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire, and Herefordshire.
