EPCs

Energy performance certificates give an overview of how energy efficient your home is, with suggestions of changes you can make to improve it. EPCs are graded A to G, with A being the most energy efficient.

If the EPC surveyor can’t see some areas of the property, for example to check underfloor or wall insulation, they will make an assumption and this will contribute to the final grading.

You must have an EPC if you are selling or renting your property. The certificate is valid for ten years but if you’ve made changes to your property it’s worth getting a new one.

Our EPC service costs £210 inc VAT and includes a 45-60 site visit when a home energy specialist will gather as much detail as they can about your home.

Landlords receive a 10% discount for multiple properties surveyed on the same day.
