What’s great about working with us
If you want to help people live more sustainably you’ve come to the right place.
Our vision is for a world with a stable climate with energy for all. We work towards this every day by addressing the basic human need of a warm, healthy and safe home, and acting on climate change by helping people, businesses and communities use energy and generate energy more sustainably.
We work with decision-makers in businesses, agencies, and local government to make sure our hands-on experience of implementing energy efficiency measures feeds in to future policies and funding schemes.
We’re equally committed to being a rewarding, inspiring, and inclusive place to work, providing the support and training you need to thrive in your role.
Your place in our team
Over the phone and face-to-face, every day our adviceline team and community-based advisers help vulnerable people in crisis, with out-of-control energy bills and cold homes. You could be supporting people in isolated communities who are excluded from usual sources of support.
Or become a ‘retrofit’ expert, guiding homeowners and businesses through their energy efficiency journey and advising on renewables.
Perhaps you’ll support rural communities take action on climate change by designing solutions to the energy issues they face.
If you don’t have experience in the energy world don’t worry – you could still have the experience and transferable skills we need.
We love what we do. Our teams enjoy a relaxed and supportive work environment and have knowledgeable, generous, and committed colleagues determined to make a difference.

Improving people’s lives every day
We supported more than double the number of people in the year to April 2024 than we did the year before, helping households to manage their debt and reduce their energy use.
After decades of improving household energy efficiency with long-term changes, we continue to find ourselves offering something closer to crisis response. As energy prices soar and fuel poverty skyrockets, we’re supporting households in the here and now, keeping an eye on their long-term sustainability at the same time.
Meanwhile our specialist technical team enable energy-saving, cost-saving, carbon-saving retrofit. Our goal is to get it right each time through detailed energy audits, professional advice, and skilled retrofit coordination.
If this sounds like an environment in which you’d thrive, we’d love to hear from you.
