We all know that prices are rising, and many people are already concerned about what lies ahead. However, for some households, worry over paying the bills is already turning into living without heat; and many have switched their boilers on to find them no longer working.
This is where Severn Wye comes in. We can provide short-term emergency support while long-term solutions are found. We will give affected households oil-filled radiators, heated blankets or heated throws to keep them warmer and safer over the winter, while they look for long-term funding or heating solutions to prevent a no heat situation occurring again next winter.

Gloucestershire,
South Gloucestershire and
Herefordshire.
How can I help?
We have everything in place to get started, including energy advisors who are already out in the community supporting vulnerable households, and a waiting list of people in need of support. The final piece in the puzzle are the funds required to purchase these emergency heat products.
We are asking households who receive the Winter Fuel Payment and don’t feel they need it to consider donating some or all of this amount to the Pay Warmth Forward fund, redistributing these support funds to fuel poor households in emergency no heat situations.
Whether you can donate your Winter Fuel Payment or can afford to contribute a different amount (of whatever size), your donation will go towards supporting some of the most vulnerable and at-risk households in Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire and Herefordshire.
